Kkumui Daehwa 10% ABV, fruit aroma meeting rice sweetness
A 375ml takju—an unfiltered Korean rice drink—brewed with Gwangju rice and traditional rice nuruk, a Korean fermentation starter, with fruit aroma, umami, and a lightly bitter finish.
The producer describes stone-fruit aroma, deep rice sweetness, gentle umami, and a subtle bitter finish. Fruit is an aroma impression, not an ingredient claim; acidity and carbonation are not given.
Try tteokgalbi with soy seasoning. Its grilled aroma and saltiness meet the drink’s sweetness, while the slight bitterness calls for another bite. This is an editorial suggestion, not an official pairing.

Behind the bottle
The Korea Tourism Organization introduces Kkum Brewery as a brewing and traditional Korean drink tasting space in Dongmyeong-dong. Kkumui Daehwa is a contemporary product name, not an old folktale. Brewed from Gwangju rice with traditional rice nuruk and bottled at 375ml, it marks a meeting point between an old drink and today's neighborhood.
Before the trip · refrigerate at 5°C or below
