Behind the bottle
The producer tells two origin stories for moju: a mother who simmered medicinal ingredients with makgeolli for her son, and the mother of Queen Inmok sharing boiled makgeolli in exile. They are stories, not confirmed origins; a 2009–2011 project later refined the recipe into a product.
